Delete your Tixit account and data
Tixit is the app of Tixit Wallet in Arnhem, the Netherlands. This is how you delete your account and the data we hold.
In the app
- Open Tixit and tap the gear at the top right (Settings).
- Under Privacy, choose Delete account and data.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted at once, also if you have no Tixit Pass.
Without the app
Email info@tixitwallet.eu from the address of your Tixit Pass, with the subject "Delete account". We delete the account within one month and confirm it by email.
What is deleted
- Your account and email address.
- Your Tixit Pass details: name, birthday, country and province, address and interests.
- The encrypted copy of your wallet and its key.
- Your phone's registration, including its notification token.
What remains
- Ticket codes and counts are unlinked: they no longer point to you.
- Backups are kept for at most 30 days. If one is restored, your account is deleted again.
- Tickets on your phone stay there until you remove the app.
