Yes. Tixit only works once a visitor has installed the app and opens their ticket inside it, so mention it clearly on your ticket PDF or payment confirmation page. Your dashboard has ready-made blocks for exactly that: one to paste into your site or confirmation email, and one image to place on your ticket PDF. There is nothing to design yourself.
What you can do with it
From your Tixit dashboard, you can compose a message and send it to all visitors who have one of your tickets in their wallet, or filter to only those with an active booking today. Messages are delivered as an in-app notification. No technical configuration is required.
No, and it is not meant to. Your newsletter, the ticket itself and the invoice stay with email. Tixit does what email cannot: the message you only think of at the last minute, rain in the forecast, or a quieter day than expected, and an offer to Tixit Pass members who have not visited you yet. Most venues run both alongside each other.
Yes. You attach a discount coupon to a message: visitors save it to their wallet and show or type it at your till or in your webshop. Choose one code for everyone, or unique codes where each device claims exactly one, so a code belongs to a single customer and can be checked off in your own system. You do not need to have those codes already: Tixit generates up to 100,000 of them in a format you choose, and you load the CSV into your own ticketing system. As a text code, QR code or barcode, with an optional valid-until date. A coupon costs no extra credits on top of the message itself.
Yes, that is the ticket lock. You choose, per venue, how many hours before the visit day the QR code becomes visible; until then your visitor sees their ticket, but not the code. A code forwarded or posted online well in advance is worth nothing that way. The lock is off by default.
Yes, and it solves a real problem at the gate: one parent buys four tickets and the family arrives separately. The visitor opens the ticket, the other phone scans the code that appears, and the ticket moves -- it leaves the first phone, so two people never hold the same one. That is more controlled than the alternative: the ticket PDF in your confirmation email can already be forwarded, with no check at all. Coupons stay correct: someone who passes on 2 of 5 tickets can still claim 3 codes and the other person 2. Each phone you then reach costs its own message credit. Passing can be switched off per venue under Settings.
In the dashboard, you select your venue's location on an interactive map and define the coverage area. Tixit generates a static map image automatically. You can then place markers for attractions, facilities, restaurants, and more. Visitors see this map in the app when they open your ticket.
Tixit automatically recognises subscription passes, annual passes, season cards, and memberships, and stores them in a dedicated Subscriptions section of the wallet. If the PDF includes a pass holder photo, it is displayed for straightforward verification at the entrance.
Emergency Alert is a fixed, ready-to-send push message you can trigger with one confirmation, reaching every visitor with a ticket for today. It's available from the Basis plan and doesn't count against your monthly message credits. Send it as often as needed.
Costs and plans
Two paid plans. Basis is €99 a month and includes 30,000 messages; Pro is €249 a month and includes 150,000. Extra credits cost €5 per 1,000 on both. The AI adviser is an optional add-on at €9.99 a month on either plan. All prices exclude VAT. Signing up, setting up your venue and being listed cost nothing. Need more than Pro? Write to info@tixitwallet.eu for a plan built around your numbers.
An optional add-on at €9.99 a month excluding VAT, on top of Basis or Pro. It reads your own sent messages and how they did, together with the weather, school and public holidays and your own website, and turns that into weekly advice for your next messages. You decide what you send, and no data about your visitors goes to the AI. You switch it on in your dashboard under Billing; it is collected with your plan in one payment and shown on the same invoice as a separate line. You can cancel just the adviser and keep your plan.
No, a plan counts app users, not tickets sold. There are always far more people holding a ticket than using the app: one family is one order, and usually one parent installs it. A message credit is also spent per device, not per ticket. If you size a plan from your ticket sales you will land on one several times too large. Your dashboard always shows the real number of app users next to your credits, and we warn you well before you reach your plan's limit.
No. Tixit works with the ticket PDFs your existing system already generates. As long as your tickets include a QR code or barcode, visitors can import them into Tixit without any changes on your end.
Tixit was designed with privacy and GDPR in mind from the very first build. Visitors' personal data, like their tickets and documents, stays on their own phone and is never stored on our servers.
